Marg's Ireland 100 Mile Charity Walk 2023

My name is Margaret Davies. I am a retired 71 year old Breast Cancer survivor (twice!) Each year, since getting my first "All-Clear" after cancer operations and treatment, I have completed a 100 mile walking challenge. In April 2023 I will be completing my Tenth Annual 100 Mile Charity Walk, this time in Ireland.

I am walking in memory of a fellow Veteran, Mel Howell, who died with Pancreatic Cancer after a brief but painful illness. At the moment there is around a 5% survival rate for this type of cancer. My two charities reflect our common Service as well as providing much needed funding for Pancreatic Cancer Research.
