My story
9 Edges Endurance 2008.
Saturday 27th September 2008.
The Nine Edges Endurances gives you the choice of whether to hike, run, climb or bike the route. I will be running but probably walking when the going gets really tough!!!
It is a traverse from Fairholmes to the Robin Hood pub near Baslow – about 20 miles for hikers, runners and climbers. It is over some rough moorland and some navigational ability is required.
I will be raising funds for Charlies Trust.
2008 will be this event’s third year, which the organisers hope will be even bigger and better than previous years. Whilst the distance and terrain may be daunting, it is a fun and friendly day out......
I will also be doing the BUPA Yorkshire Run in Sheffield on Sunday 7th September 2008 together with a team from Powerminster Gleeson Services.
Please come out and support us on the day, a friendly cheer or banter makes the challenge a lot easier...
