Thanks for visiting my fundraising page, you may (or may not) be surprised I have volunteered to run the London Marathon this year, trying to raise as much money as possible for the Lord’s Taverners. Below I have provided a short summary of some of the brilliant work they do, and why it is a cause I would be so grateful you can get behind too.

The Lord's Taverners is the UK's leading youth cricket and disability sports charity, providing sporting opportunities for disadvantaged and disabled young people to allow access to free sport and the countless benefits this can bring. They achieve this by focusing on youth cricket in disadvantaged areas and sports and recreational equipment for young people with disabilities and special needs, including sports wheelchairs, specially-adapted minibuses and sensory play areas.

As a keen sportsman and secondary school teacher I spend lots of time working with both disabled and disadvantaged young students - I can really see how beneficial and life changing this charity would be for those students and would be very grateful for any support you can give.
