My story
I am running the St. Albans half marathon in aid of The Young M.E. Sufferer's Trust.
Myalgic Encephalomyelitis is a chronic, disabling, often severe, organic neurological illness. It affects childen as young as three and can leave them housebound or bedbound, sometimes paralysed or tubefed. It robs youngsters of their childhood and independence and often leaves them in isolation. The Tymes Trust works with children and young people and their families to bring them support, help and guidance.
I am supporting TYMES Trust as my sister has suffered from M.E. for 15 years. since she was 8, and the Trust assisted and supported our family through many difficult times.
