Leila & Matt's half marathon 2017

At the end of last year Leila and I decided that we wanted to achieve certain goals in 2017; one of them was to run a half marathon (cityofnorwichhalfmarathon.com/).
It is not as insanely demanding as a full 26 miles, but the preparation and the eventual race is still a big physical effort on both of us.

Last year Leila underwent both chemotherapy and radiotherapy for breast cancer, and in August was given the all clear. Since then she has been determined to get herself back to her fighting weight in order to be prepared for any further crap life decides to throw at her.

The Big C charity was there for Leila when she needed them.

So we felt we'd take this opportunity to try and give something back to them. We have set a nominal target (which has now been updated- thanks) and with your help we will hopefully raise as much as we can.

We will be running 13 miles. If you can bring yourself to donate or pledge £1 for each of those miles, that would definitely make our effort much easier.
