My story
Mental Health is something that is close to my heart having suffered with depression since my early teens. Suicide has affected my family and I have a very close friend who battles every day with her mental health.
For years swimming in the sea has been my biggest fear! I have a friend who has been trying to get me to join a group of sea swimmers every Sunday and I have finally agreed to go. I begin on Sunday 24th of January. Regardless if I enjoy it or not I will continue going to raise £5k for penumbra.
Mental health matters more than ever we need these charities.
