Help find Michael Dixon

Event date: 12th February 2010

Laura Francis is raising money for The Lucie Blackman Trust

My story

Michael Dixon is the brother of David Dixon who is our colleague, working at Elekta. Michael, 33, disappeared after checking into the Villas Macondo hotel in Tamarindo, Guanacaste, Costa Rica on 18 October 2009.

The last confirmed sighting of him was in the afternoon of the same day when staff saw him leave the hotel.

His mother, Lynn, told a news conference in London recently: "We are very close to our son... and we are desperate to find him."

A group of 9 of us including Laura Francis and Jacinda Leslie (Elekta employees) are embarking on a trek to conquer Kilimanjaro in February 2010 to raise funds to support his family in trying to find Michael. Please donate whatever you can to support this worthy cause. 2% of the total donations will go to The Lucie Blackman Trust to support their initiatives in finding missing people abroad.
For more information go to: missingabroad.org/missing-profile/michael-dixon

Since the disappearance of Lucie Blackman in Japan in 2000, The Lucie Blackman Trust has assisted many other families of missing relatives and has now established Missing Abroad to provide the unique expertise, practical help, advice and support.

Thank you.
