Michael's 2025 Events

I am taking part in a number of events in 2025 to raise money for DEBRA and awareness of EB, a cause that is so close to my heart.

My cousin, Isla, was born with recessive dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa (RDEB) and lives every day in extreme pain. The brutal condition causes her skin to blister and break, requiring strong medication and regular operations. It prevents her from living a normal life.
Isla is the strongest, bravest person I know.

DEBRA is a fantastic charity, providing community care and support services to improve quality of life for people living with all types of inherited and acquired EB, and funding pioneering research to find effective treatments, investing almost £3.5m in EB research, EB community care and support, and EB specialist healthcare in 2023.
