Mike Rankine's 365 Day Challenge
Event dates: 1st January 2014 – 31st December 2014
My story
I have pledged to run 10km every single day in 2014 - come rain or shine, wherever I find myself, and however I happen to be feeling.
I started running on the 1st of January 2014. If I succeed, by New Year's Eve 2014 I will have run 3,650km (2270 miles) - which is approximately the distance from my home in Cyprus to the UK. Or, Lands End to John O'Groats 2.75 times.
I am attempting this questionable feat to raise money for the League of Welldoers (www.welldoers.org) - Liverpool's oldest independent charity.
