Mike runs the Leeds Half Marathon!

I am foolishly running the Leeds Half Marathon, a total of 13.1 miles on Sunday 8th May to raise funds for Cloth Cat. No-one appears to be funding us any more so we're having to take matters in to our own hands!! Amongst projects we run are the community music courses; work with older people, youth, offenders at Armley Jail, the homeless those with mental health problems, but we want to work anywhere in Leeds where there is disadvantage. Also the Leeds Music History Project will include an exhibition in Leeds City Centre to inspire new generations of people to learn to play music and benefit from it in so many ways. We want to celebrate the music and people who have come out of Leeds and made some impact on the wider music industry and population too. Also, it will be a chance to reminice on the creative talent which has come through our great city!
