Mile Swim For Woodlands Hospice

On September 26th I'm going to be swimming a mile in the Salford Quays in order to raise money for The Woodlands Hospice Charitable Trust.

Woodlands Hospice is a place where my Granddad was cared for after he was diagnosed with cancer a few years ago. The work they do there is absolutely amazing and the care they give to their patients and their families is pretty incredible.

But, 45% of their yearly costs come solely from charitable donations. So, as you can imagine, it's fairly difficult to stay up and running.

Therefore, in a couple of weeks time I'm going to be whacking out a wetsuit and swimming for an hour in some ridiculously cold water to raise some cash for them!

The last thing I want to do is go all Bob Geldoff on you all, but I would be extremely grateful if you'd like to sponsor me on this slightly insane challenge. It only has to be the slightest bit of change and every little helps and all that jazz.
