My story
In March this year, I lost my mum to Motor Neurone Disease. Watching someone you love go through MND is something that stays with you forever; the strength she showed, even on the hardest days, is something I’ll always carry with me.
I’m taking part in this walk for the Leeds Hospital Charity and Darby Rimmer MND Foundation in her memory. It’s my way of honouring her, raising awareness, and helping support others who are facing this devastating illness.
