Chris Ditchburn is raising money for Motor Neurone Disease Association and MND Scotland
In 2009 my dad, Fleck, was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease.
Against all odds, he is still with us as we enter 2025.
In 2013, on my dad's instruction, I started to train for the 2014 Great North Run. This was the first running event I ever did at the age of 38 and I haven't stopped since.
In 2025, I will be turning 50 years old and I've set myself the challenge of running 50 half marathons between 1st January and 31st December. There will also be a sneaky Edinburgh (full) Marathon in May which is my first official marathon event.
I hope to use my half marathon adventure to promote awareness of MND and to raise some money for MND charities.
I live in Scotland, whilst my parents live in Cumbria, England. As a result I've decided that any money raised will be split evenly between The Motor Neurone Disease Association and MND Scotland
Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto Motor Neurone Disease Association and MND Scotland.
Your donations will help the great work Motor Neurone Disease Association and MND Scotland do.
