Jonny Ross is raising money for Gift of a Wedding
My story
On 26th-27th September 2022, I will be climbing to the summit of Mont Blanc (4807m) for the Charity Gift Of A Wedding.
Gift Of A Wedding is a charity that donates weddings to couples with a terminal or life-shortening illness. It is a charity we have supported as a business for the last couple of years, and they spread joy and happiness with the help of wedding industry suppliers.
Mont Blanc is Western Europe’s highest and some say most challenging climbing peak. We will be ascending Mont Blanc along The Gouter Route, the most direct climb and trails some of the mountain's most beautiful glaciers. I will be climbing with Chilean guide Carlos Vasquez and we will be staying in huts on the mountain as we ascend and acclimatise to the altitude.
