Lynn Delaney is raising money for Multiple Sclerosis Trust
As my mum is a sufferer from this disabling neurological condition, I have set myself a challenge to raise money for the Multiple Sclerosis Trust.
The MS Trust is a leading UK independent charity for people with MS, their families and friends, and for the health and social professionals who work with them. At present there is no cure for MS but with your help they can make sure positive steps are taken to ensure people with MS can live their lives to the full, and continue vital research to bring essential therapies to people who live with MS everyday.
From the 22-29th of August myself and my sister will be taking part in a horse riding trek exploring Iceland. This will be a tuff challenge on my part as I have to learn to horse ride and become riding fit. I took my first lesson yesterday and have realised this is not going to be easy which is why I want to do it.
The trek will involve riding 35-45km a day (which is about 6 hours a day) for 5 days over a diversity of terrains.
In order for us to take part in this we need to raise a total of £5000 so even the smallest of donations is very much appreciated.
P.S. When you make a donation, don't forget to check the Gift Aid box if you're a UK taxpayer as then your charity can claim an extra 28% from the government!
Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto Multiple Sclerosis Trust.
