Jade Norman is raising money for The Labrador Lifeline Trust
Hi, my name is Jade and I've just turned 18 years old.
I enjoy life to the full considering I am autistic and have significant learning difficulties. That is thanks to my family and friends who support me.
I adore all animals and am currently on a two year Animal Management course. We have four labradors at home and we adore them. Two of them we have taken in from other people who couldn't have them anymore.
At weekends, I help my Mum to transport labradors into rescue and know the hard work that they do with little money, so this year I want to raise funds and help Labrador Lifeline Trust.
Labrador Lifeline Trust aim is simple, to help Labradors! Money raised goes towards kennel costs, vets fees, medication and rehoming costs. They also help other dog rescues of other breeds who need help. LLT are unpaid volunteers.
My 2017 Challenge is one that I have been planning for a few months now. I thought that last year?s was difficult, but this is something that REALLY will push me to my limits.
It covers both Suffolk and Norfolk!
DAY ONE ? FRIDAY 2 JUNE
I am cycling 50 miles along the Peddars Way from Knettishall Heath Country Park to Hunstanton. The Peddars Way follows a Roman road built along the line of an even older trackway. The name, Peddars Way, is said to be derived from the Latin ?pedester?, which means ?on foot?.
The trail starts in the Brecks, a unique area of forest, heath and low river valleys, running north from Knettishall Heath in Suffolk, through changing countryside to the north Norfolk coast near Hunstanton.
Staying overnight at the Deepdale Backpack Youth Hostel.
DAY TWO ? SATURDAY 3 JUNE
Setting off from Deepdale, I am walking 24 miles of the North Norfolk Coastal Path. This provides fantastic scenery and landscape.
The majority of the Trail runs through the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and the Brecks, a unique area of forest, heath and low river valleys.
I will be walking to ?The Poppy Line? Railway Station in Sheringham.
