NBB GNR 2022

Well I have gone and done it again The Great North Run 2022 HERE I COME!

I will be once again supporting Northumbria Blood Bikes for this event. However, here is the twist should I raise £1000 I will do it dressed as Elvis!

Wondering why? I recently lost my dad to a terminal illness, and naturally this has left a huge hole in my life. My dad was a great supporter of Northumbria Blood Bikes and the volunteering I do for them, I still remember the late night early morning messages about what bike I was on or how many Jobs I had done.

NBB supports the North East supplying Blood and other products around the region, my dad was a one of those who needed these urgent items when admitted to hospital.

I recently went back on shift and this was one of the hardest things I have done, for a number of reasons no late night messages, the delivering of blood to someone who needed it, travelling to the hospital which treated my dad throughout all had an impact but all for a good cause.
