Our team is aiming to walk 100,000 steps (47.5 miles) in high heels (even the boys!) in the centres of Southampton and Basingstoke.
We chose 100,000 steps because there is on average 100,000 hairs on a persons head and this is relevant to the charity (The Pink Place) that we are fundraising for.
The Pink Place is a local Basingstoke charity which provides free beauty therapy and wigs for cancer patients and has been running since 2010.
