My story
My twin girls, Evie and Erin, were born 10 weeks premature and were looked after by the fantastic team in the Special Care Baby Unit at the Cumberland Infirmary for 7 weeks. They also gave me and my wife, Eliza, great support throughout until we could take them home. We wish we'd taken better advantage of the free babysitting!
The girls will be 4 in May and I have finally got my act together to raise funds for this great team.
On Friday 10 May I will be setting off from Whitehaven with 11 other finely tuned athletes from our Rugby days, hoping to make the 140 mile trip over the Pennines to Tynemouth on Sunday 12 May.
