Nick Richards is raising money for THE MARFAN TRUST
My story
I'm running The MK marathon on April 29th in aid of the Marfan Trust. Marfan Syndrome is a genetic condition which I have myself, and which can affect the heart, limbs and eyes. People with Marfan's tend to be unusually tall, I'm six foot six myself!
This will be my first (& probably last!) marathon! I've previously run one half marathon, the Royal Parks last year (see photo) in 1 hour 48 but I realise the marathon will be more challenging, my target is to finish in under 4 hours but I'm not promising anything!
Please sponsor me with whatever you can afford, I've set an arbitrary target using £10 per mile for the 26 miles as a guide!
