Cardiff Half Marathon in aid of Lluest Horse and Pony Trust

I am running the Cardiff Half Marathon on 19th October 2008 in Aid of Lluest Horse and Pony Trust. Lluest is a small charity based in Carmarthenshire, Wales which rescues horses, ponies and donkeys, which have been neglected or ill-treated. The charity aims to rehabilitate the horses, ponies and donkeys Lluest rescues and find them appropriate loving loan homes where possible, however if any of the horses, ponies or donkeys cannot be fostered out, there is always a place for them at the farm. Lluest also campaigns to improve conditions at horse sales and generally improve public knowledge of equine welfare. I have been a supporter of Lluest most of my life and my first pony, Davy, was a Lluest pony rescued from the meat trade as a foal. I am running the half marathon in memory of Lluest's founding member Ginny Hadjukiewicz and also my mother Carolyn, who also supported the trust.
