After day 1 walking 30 miles in 10/12 hours of rain, my feet became unfit to walk and there was too high risk for infection after seeking medical advice.

My story
Hi my names Kieran Reynolds. I am located in Ty Elwy (North Wales) and I work within the EPCP team for integrated care.
I will attempting to walk solo from Rhyl (North Wales) to Cardiff (South Wales) in 7 days. 156 miles to walk!
In terms of sleep, I will be camping or using B&B's.
I have been an employee of WAST since March 2021 and I have thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it and I plan to be here for many more years. Before joining WAST I never really fully understood the pressures the Ambulance Service faced from the outside looking in. Now I understand. I have really taken it upon myself the last 12 months to improve staff morale and well-being. And this walk is a great opportunity to raise some money to support our WAST.
