OMG...My first 10k run!!!

Some of you may know that 6 months ago, I had a goal-keeping accident which forced me out on the pitch for my local ladies football team, where my fitness has gone from strength to strength.
I work in an industry which has supported me thought-out my career, both in the automotive and the motorsport world and I feel its now time to give back.

Epidermolysis bullosa (EB) is the name for a group of painful genetic skin conditions that cause the skin to become very fragile and tear or blister at the slightest touch.
The name comes from ‘epiderm’ - the outer layer of skin, ‘lysis’ - the breakdown of cells and ‘bullosa’ - blisters.
DEBRA UK is a national medical research charity and patient support organisation for anyone living in the UK with any type of EB, their family members, carers, plus healthcare professionals and researchers specialising in EB.

The vehicle Bodyshop repair industry is a heavy supporter for DEBRA UK, this is my way of saying thank you to the support I have received. 
10k is huge for me but its a challenge I am will to accept if it means I can make a small different to these children with this condition.
