Our Snowdon Challenge

We will be climbing Mount Snowdon to raise money for the Ar Rahma Foundation, an organisation we support and put trust in the work they are doing in our community.

The Ar Rahma foundation is a non profit community organisation in Hall Green, Birmingham.

The foundation is different to many others; it is very active and vibrant with a great emphasis on community work and is run by young leaders with a clear vision of what values they want to instill in their community.

The foundation provides a place for regular daily prayers. It also runs the Al Quraan Academy, which provides after school and weekend classes for more than 200 children in 20+ classes, aged from 5-18 years old. The academy also provides adult learning classes incuding Tajweed, Arabic, Seerah, Fiqh, Hadith.

Furthermore, the foundation aims to serve the needs of the local community and to work towards common good. with projects;

• Youth projects including empowerment workshops, career counselling, sporting activities, day trips.

• a Community Outreach Project including interfaith work, a food bank and litter picking

• a Sisters Network including coffee mornings, kickboxing and fitness classes.
