Patrick Morriss is raising money for Friends of the Cromford Canal

My story

As Chair of the Friends of the Cromford Canal and also a sufferer of Bowel Cancer I hope to raise a significant amount of money to be split 50:50 between the FCC and Chesterfield Royal Hospital where I received treatment. I will be walking the 15 miles between Langley Mill and Cromford in Derbyshire on Thursday 30th October 2008 this coincides with the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Discovery Days Week. Assuming of course that the "Pins and Needles" and numbness in my hands and feet (a legacy of chemotherapy, paraesthesia is the medical term) allows me to go the distance!

Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto Friends of the Cromford Canal.
