Ukraine Holiday Camp for Orphans

I am going with a team of very good Samaritans from UK charity Global Action to run a two week holiday camp for orphans in the Ukraine. The camp is two week of fun, games and really good food! The children will have the time of their lives!

There are many orphans in the Ukraine. These children have experienced a traumatic upbringing, having lost parents through alcoholism, abuse, violence and sometime abandonment due to lack on money. Unfortunately not all of them are able to be looked after by the state. Worse still, those that are looked after by the state live in basic conditions and are fed on only 3p a day.

The Hope Centre provides the love and attention these children so desperately require. It's the only two weeks in the whole year that they can be normal kids. A dedicated team of volunteers will run the holiday camp for two weeks in August, providing jam packed days of activities including arts and crafts, exercise and daily trips to the beach to try out 'Beach Olympics'
