My story
It has been a while since I have done a long run and raised money for a charity.
So I have a place at the Southampton half marathon and I am hoping to improve drastically on my previous times.
I have decided to support Hampshire Search and Rescue. It may be a bit of a cheat as I am an operational member and on some of the specialist teams. You may not be aware of what we do as our work often takes place when most people are sleeping. What is that work? Primarily, To support the police in finding vulnerable missing people and reunite them with their families. This year is a big year as we have several important projects under way on top of maintaining our existing capabilities.
