Josh and Kelly hiking Pen Y Fan for PLOL!

Josh is 13 year old boy who likes nothing more than to laze about in his bedroom playing computer games.

He's not as fast as the other kids his age, he's quite clumsy and he finds things that others take for granted tricky, especially when it comes to writing and organising himself.

Recently after his DCD assessment we were able to access some physiotherapy for josh to help him overcome some of the barriers he faces because of the significant coordination difficulties he experiences. Together, with his physiotherapist we decided to set a goal to work towards, something motivating! Josh isn't a fan of sports, years of trying and not keeping up with peers has meant Josh's confidence when it comes to physical persuits is at an all time low. with one exception, hiking, Josh is good at hiking and choosing to hike Pen Y Fan, although challenging has become motivational. Years spent scouting has helped him learn to enjoy hiking- thanks to Phil for putting up with him!

Those that know Josh will agree that when he's not being the joker or sharing his latest learnt facts with you his kindness always shines through! Josh decided that not only would he like to conquer Pen Y Fan, he would like to raise some money whilst doing it.

UPDATE: 18/8/16 due to adverse weather forecast for Brecon on the 19th we have had to postpone this event in the interests of Josh's safety. We are looking to go ahead on the 23/8/16.
