Fara Jalali is raising money for The Stable Family Home Trust
My story
The Persian Empire team are hoping to reclaim their dragon boat title and take home the coveted trophy on Saturday 7th August at Poole Park. We will be paddling for your pounds to raise urgent funds for the Stable Family Home Trust, a charity close to our hearts who support people with learning and physical disabilities in Dorset. Their day services has been closed for over 1 year since Covid-19 and have only just re-opened. During lockdown many of their clients battled with mental health issues and loneliness as well as lack of routine in their daily lives. We need your help to mitigate funds lost for vital activities and care support in their current day services, so they can enjoy happy and independent lives within the community.
