My story
My mum is sadly a victim of dementia. This dreadful disease that inflicts about a million people in the UK alone right now. The number is expected to grow over time.
I've chosen Dementia Research UK because their focus is giving grants to dementia-related research projects. This covers a wide range of research into the nature, causes, diagnosis, prevention, treatment and care of all forms of dementia as well as research into the support and services that people with dementia need.
