Half Ironman Challenge

On July 29th I am aiming to complete a Half Ironman distance triathlon in memory of Patrick Cody, a great friend who was lost long before his time.

The event includes a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike and a half marathon, all to be completed in under 9 hours (and in a lycra suit!) It has - and still does - involve a lot of training, time and pain, not to mention a growing list of smaller events!

It's impossible to describe what a legend Pat was and how much of a loss it is to all who knew him.

Pat discovered a passion and a vocation at Cherry Trees School and I hope whatever I raise can go a small way to keeping his memory alive there.
