Pete Garvin is raising money for CHERRY TREES SCHOOL FUND

Half Ironman Challenge

Event date: 29th July 2012

My story

On July 29th I am aiming to complete a Half Ironman distance triathlon in memory of Patrick Cody, a great friend who was lost long before his time.

The event includes a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike and a half marathon, all to be completed in under 9 hours (and in a lycra suit!) It has - and still does - involve a lot of training, time and pain, not to mention a growing list of smaller events!

It's impossible to describe what a legend Pat was and how much of a loss it is to all who knew him.

Pat discovered a passion and a vocation at Cherry Trees School and I hope whatever I raise can go a small way to keeping his memory alive there.

All donations greatly appreciated, it's for a great cause!

Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto CHERRY TREES SCHOOL FUND.
