Leeds Rob Burrow Marathon
Event date:
Peter Smith is raising money for Yorkshire's Brain Tumour Charity and Leeds Hospitals Charity
My story
I'm supporting Rob Burrow appeal for MND centre at Leeds Hospital Charity....I am a lifelong Leeds Rhinos fan and the same age as Rob Burrow. I have been inspired by Kevin Sinfield to 'be a mate' by running challenges to train for the marathon.
So I am also fundraising for Yorkshire Brain Tumour Charity, to support my good friend Mel who lost her husband Pete McGinlay in November 2022 after a long battle.
I am a 'casual parkrunner' and I turn 40 soon and It will be a tough challenge to do all the training and complete a marathon at HQ Headingley Stadium.
Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto Yorkshire's Brain Tumour Charity and Leeds Hospitals Charity.
