Phil Haynes is raising money for AntiCoagulation UK
My story
In 2006 we lost my eldest son, Jamie, to a Pulmonary Embolism, we finally found the cause was a blood condition called Anti Thrombin Deficiency 3 (sticky blood) where any bruising can become a blood clot which breaks away and can get lodged in the lungs, brain or heart, any of which are life threatening. The whole family has this condition with the exception of myself.
Pulmonary embolism is one of the biggest takers of life and so few people are aware of this. So my charity this year is Anticoagulation UK, a small charity whose aim is to make people aware of the condition and understand the causes.
Please help me to raise my target and stop others having to go through the same grief.
