My story

Over the next year, ending August 2026, I will be celebrating my 70 years on this planet by raising as much money as I can for 2 charities: Greenpeace and Circus Eruption. In exchange for your sponsorship, I will be swimming 70 km (at least) in the sea, rivers, lakes, ponds and pools – as much as possible wild, fresh (ish) or salty water, possibly chlorinated or sewered. I will be swimming, where possible, with old and new friends, probably towing a rubber duck. There will be no hand puppets involved.
Will you
a)      Sponsor me?
b)      Swim with me?
c)      Watch me from a warm dry place?
d)      Mock my ridiculous vanity?
Also on 2nd August 2025 I will be gathering friends together in Swansea celebrating on a beach and having a mass swim/paddle as part of the day – more details on that later but please save the date if you’d like to join me.

Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto Circus Eruption and Greenpeace Environmental Trust.
