Phoenix Fliers raising money for Jessie’s Fund

Runners from the Phoenix Concert band will be running the Leeds Abbey Dash to raise money for Jessie’s Fund. This amazing charity helps children with additional and complex needs communicate and express themselves through the power of music.

By providing music therapists posts, musical instruments and training, Jessie’s fund helps children connect and communicate through music. They also offer training and support for other organisations to provide music for children with disabilities.

The charity is close to the heart of he Phoenix Concert Band, as Becca one of our wonderful saxophone players is the Executive Director of the charity, and a keen runner. The band has helped raise money for Jessie’s Fund through previous Christmas busking. Help us help many more children access the wonderful way to express themselves through music.
