Potters Arf 2024

I'm writing to share some exciting news—I'll be participating in the Potters Arf marathon this September 2024, and I couldn't be more thrilled about it!

But this isn't just any marathon for me. It's a deeply personal journey, one that is tied to a cause very close to my heart. As many of you know, in February of 2023, I was involved in a road traffic collision that left me with significant and lasting brain injuries. The journey since then has been nothing short of challenging, as I've had to relearn even the most basic tasks, such as walking and talking.

Through the unwavering support of countless doctors and the love and care of my fiancé, I've been able to make remarkable strides in my recovery. However, none of this would have been possible without the incredible assistance of Headway. This charity has been a beacon of hope throughout my rehabilitation journey, providing invaluable support and resources every step of the way.

That's why I've decided to take on the Potters Arf marathon—to give back to the organization that has given me so much. By participating in this event, I hope to raise both awareness and funds for Headway, ensuring that they can continue their vital work in supporting individuals like myself who are navigating the challenges of brain injury.
