Project 100 Miles

Hi,

I'm on a mission to prove age is no barrier to being fit and healthy and to inspire others to be more active and to spend more time outdoors in nature. So on the 10th October I am going to attempt to compete a 100 mile run (Autumn 100). I also want to prove we are all capable of more than we believe, i'll be attempting to run the 100 miles in the cut off of 28 hours with a training base of 30-50 miles a week.

In doing this challenge I've decided to raise some money for charity as it is a big challenge for me and I've picked two charities to raise money for as I feel they match the challenge and my goal.

Move More - an innovative, vibrant charity; that pride themselves on being able to make a positive difference to the lives of children and their families through sport and physical activity. I have personally benefited from some of their sessions for parents during the lock-down.

Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust - a simple ambition to preserve, recreate and reconnect Gloucestershire’s wild places. I am grateful that we have wild places to run and play in and want to help retain these for everyone's well-being.
