48h Pure Peak Grit - hill challenge to protect The Peaks

Alaina Beacall is raising money for Friends of the Peak District

My story

*TRY THE ROUTE - SUPPORT THE CAUSE *

12-14th July, a group of female cyclists attempted to cycle the new 'Pure Peak Grit' route - this road ride includes every major hill in the Peak District.

The route is 375 miles (602km) long & involves a punishing 13,000m of climbing. It includes at least 42 fearsome categorised hills, most with whacking gradients ranging 10-25%. Now you can try it for yourself - or recce it, ready for next year's event.

PPG is about pushing the boundaries of cycling endurance, experiencing & embracing every part of Britain's first National Park & helping to conserve it for the future.

Please help raise funds to protect the small communities, nature & wildlife of this incredible place.
Thank you!!
