Race Night for the Johnson Beharry VC Foundation

The Johnson Beharry VC Foundation protects vulnerable children aged 10 and above from criminal exploitation and violence. Our story begins with our founder, whose inspiring journey directly influences our preventative approach.

Our programmes address significant gaps in support for at-risk children through intensive intervention starting at age 10. Project Alpha provides vulnerable children aged 10-11 with 150+ hours of specialist multidisciplinary support. This includes after-school clubs, off-site visits, and residentials to help them navigate the high-risk transition into Year 7.

The Johnson Beharry VC Foundation is piloting its own innovative selection methodology grounded in social, emotional and mental health research to identify the most at-risk children based solely on current observable behaviours without ever applying labels. We will be there to support our most vulnerable children, whoever they are.
