My story
War Child UK in their own words "...provide medical care, sanctuary and counselling to girls who have been the victim of sexual violence; create safe havens where children can escape the dangers of life on the streets after war has forced them to leave home; rebuild schools destroyed by war and get kids out of army uniforms and into school ones; help children get their voices heard and their rights met ? helping local people to protect their children better."
The charity is based in North London and operates in Afghanistan, Iraq, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of Congo, Syria and Uganda.
