Raising funds for the Mid Cheshire Hospital Stoma Nurse/Care team.

I am taking part in GB Ultra Chester Ultra marathon on the 28th February 2026 which is a 50 mile Ultra Marathon.  I enjoyed this event last year too.

I am also taking part in my first 100 mile Ultra marathon 26th September 2026,  which is the GB Ultra Cheshire Ring.

Plus many more events over the year.

I am raising funds for the wonderful Mid Cheshire Hospital Stoma nurse and care team.  Funds raised will help to purchase equipment,  to educate staff and patients in the hospital and community.
I admire all the work the team does to help patients.   I too have a stoma and I am a patient still so I appreciate and value all the care. 

I started running ultras and marathons after stoma surgery 7 years ago.   I love it so much and having stoma surgery liberated me from years of pain living with Crohn's Disease.

I am also a newly qualified nurse on the surgical ward at Leighton Hospital.  
And I have previously volunteered and supported Colostomy UK and Crohn's and Colitis UK. 
I want to share that life does not end with a Crohn's Disease and a stoma, and to keep positive,  also combating stigma and continue to raise awareness.
