Ryan Morris is raising money for Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charitable Fund
After bringing our newborn, premature twins home at 34 weeks they unfortunately took a turn for the worse and had to be admitted to intensive care in the CAU department in Leighton hospital. Here, the staff worked day and night to ensure they recovered from their problems, as well as caring for Mum and myself whilst living along side them for Severn days.
The nurses and doctors that worked during this period were absolutely exceptional and really left no stone unturned. Thanks to them, we are now sitting back in the comfort of our own home, and we cannot thank them enough for giving them lifesaving, unconditional care.
Myself and my partner feel we must give something back to the ward and the staff involved during our time there, and spoke with Mark the charity coordinator at the hospital and formulated a plan to run in the Paris marathon in April 2025, raising funds for this department and its staff to use towards lifesaving equipment, treatment and allowing them to continue to give patients the quality of care that we received.
