I’m challenging myself to run the London Marathon 2027! 

I’m not a natural runner, although exercise and being fit is very important to me. I very much enjoy having a goal to work towards so this challenge is something I’m very excited about. 

Fitness brings me confidence and very much supports my mental and physical wellbeing. It makes a huge difference to my day-to-day life, so I value the work that Lord Taverners are doing to support young people through sport.

🏏 Wicketz
A community cricket programme for young people aged 8-19 living in highly deprived areas. Wicketz tackles local challenges, helping participants develop life skills, confidence, and social connections through sport.

🏏 Super 1s
A disability cricket programme providing regular access to cricket for young people aged 12-25 with disabilities. Super 1s fosters confidence, independence, and a sense of belonging, empowering participants on and off the pitch.

🏏 Table Cricket
An adaptive form of inclusive cricket, played on a table tennis table, designed for young people with a range of disabilities. It creates opportunities for competition, social engagement, and personal development in an accessible and enjoyable environment.
