Our story
As a result of working in dermatology, Rebekah became aware of the incredible work DEBRA does and gained a deeper understanding of the daily realities faced by people living with Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB). Hearing their stories and seeing the challenges they navigate with such strength has stayed with me. Jon has been equally moved by the daily challenges, including pain, itching and dressing changes that people with EB have to contend with. The lack of treatments and the work by DEBRA to support research into the repurposing of existing drugs is vital.
Together, we’ve decided to take on The Lap in Windermere in 2026 to help raise vital funds for DEBRA. This is the furthest we have ever walked/run and represents a significant challenge. Every donation supports research, care, and hope for individuals and families affected by EB. Thank you so much for supporting us, it truly makes a difference.
