Remembering Gordon Cotter
Nick Cotter are raising money for Action For Pulmonary Fibrosis and UK Skydiving Adventures
Our story
I watched my dad deteriorate from idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. The suffering he faced at the hands of this debilitating disease can only be described as simply awful. Dad’s fight against IPF sadly ended on 26/12/20 surrounded by his family. I now want to raise awareness of IPF and support the brilliant work that the Action for pulmonary fibrosis charity do to help those who suffer and to raise money to find a cure for this cruel disease of unknown cause. That is why I am going to take on my lifelong fear of heights by jumping from a plane at 15000ft in the form of a tandem skydive on 23 July 22. The thought of actually going through with this challenge is petrifying beyond belief but is driven by the overwhelming desire for more sufferers of IPF being able to breath easy without round the clock oxygen canisters being unable to do the simple things in life like tying shoes laces, brushing teeth or simply eating a meal without gasping for breath. I appreciate the escalating cost of living and the difficult times we are all living in right now so whatever you can give as you live no matter how small would mean so much to me and my chosen charity APF. Thank you X
