Remembering Ricky - 3 Peaks in 24 hours

In memory of Ricky and to raise vital funds for 'The Ricky Casey Trust' there are 8 of us (myself, Wayne Orme, John Paul Ratcliffe, Marcus Walker, Bobby Fulham, Jeffrey Cheetham, Tom Ingell and Mark Nilsen all attempting to complete National 3 peaks (Ben Nevis, Scaffel Pike and Snowden) in 24 hours. Considered as one of Britains toughest outdoor challenges trekking approx 26 miles and ascending a total height of around 3000m.

The charity now has a clear target of raising £500,000 for clinical trials for Renal Medullary Carcinoma which took Ricks life. We currently stand at over £100,000 so every penny is vital in aiming to achieve our goal. In addition we hope the walk will create more awareness around RMC and what the charity can help with. Rick was a very close friend not only to me but many people and the sooner we can hit this target we can try and help no one has to go through what he endured.
