Remembering Shantaben - Our Beloved Mum

Mum was a truly inspirational lady - throughout her life she would always remain positive, dignified, with a loving and caring approach, and soldier on through all of life's challenges. In particular, in the last year with her recent illness, her true spirit of a brave, strong, resilient woman shone through with utter brilliance.

We don't want the last year to define mum, but to remember and treasure her as the kind hearted, generous, funny, hardworking, welcoming, sociable, charitable, role model that we all looked up to and admired. Her undeniable energy and determined can do attitude will always stay with us - we hope we are able to take part in school sports day sack races, abseil and zipwire, in our 60s and 70s just as mum did!

In memory of our Mum we would like to raise money for: The Kamla Foundation - a charity close to her heart and one that she always supported; Swallows - who helped us during the last year; and Macmillan - who again provided great support.
