Help Repair Ramadan Mosque - Shacklewell Lane

Assalamualaikum to all my Brothers, Sisters, Fathers and Mothers in Islam we have a pledge for all of you to please help the house of Allah

We could not believe the state of the Masjid in the heart of London, The house of Allah, yet it seemed to lack love and community spirit.

After visiting the Shacklewell Lane Masjid in Hackney we have taken it upon ourselves to help raise funds to have essential repair works done. Alhamdulillah we have already managed to get the heating working but there is so much more to be done, by the will of Allah your donations will make a difference.

There is Brother Erkin from the masjid who is striving to make ends meet for the building but he cannot do it all on his own, Mashallah he has been doing his utmost best he needs help.

🏢The Masjid is in need of the following:

1. Roof repairs both internal and external.
2. General building repairs including walls, piping and maintenance.

The Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allag will build for him likewise in Paradise" (Bukhari)

The Masjid have been fully transparent with all the donations collected and inshaAllah we can follow the repair project of an integral part of our community.

Serving the Muslim community since 1977 the Ramadan Mosque in Shacklewell Lane London has played an integral part in providing all aspects of the Muslim faith to its people, including marriages, funerals, repatriation, helping the Aged and feeding the homeless, the Ramadan Mosque has been there to serve our needs. Within the last few years the Mosque has run into a state of dis-repair as the funding has been low, this is very disheartening. We have 6 to 12 months to make a change or close

Below are approximate estimates of how the money will be spent. £10k Scaffolding with Labour (Set up + Removal) £25k Materials (This includes for all internal ceilings + walls + the huge external roof + dome) £15k Labour.
