Event dates: 5th March 2021 – 7th March 2021
Ricky Hunter & Dan Sibley is raising money for Gastroparesis & Intestinal Failure Trust
Ricky and Dan are running the 4x4x48 challenge, starting at 4am Friday 5th of March 2021 and completing Sunday morning 7th of March.
The 4x4x48 world wide event challenge involves running 4 miles (6.5km) every 4 hours for 48 hours. More details of the challenge can be found on the link:
gogginschallenge.com
We will be running the challenge to support and raise awareness for Gastroparesis:

In 2018, our friend Anne Marie was diagnosed with Gastroparesis and since then has battled daily to find ways to deal with it as currently there is no cure. This includes having a feeding tube to help with hydration and basic nourishment.
Living with severe gastroparesis involves countless operations, consultations and missing out on things that most of us may take for granted such as eating a meal or sometimes sipping a cup of tea. We would love to do our bit towards helping find a cure or more treatment possibilities.
'Gastroparesis, literally translated means "paralysis of the stomach" however, a more accurate description would be delayed gastric emptying.
In reality this means food sits in the stomach with no place to go, often leading to nausea, bloating and vomiting. '
Thanks from Ricky and Dan for supporting, its not going to be easy that's for sure.
Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto Gastroparesis & Intestinal Failure Trust.
