Rio Needs Surgery

RIO, a young French Bulldog, needs surgery

Two year old, Rio, has come into care due to a change in his family’s circumstances. He was checked over at the vets and was found to have narrow air passages with the result that he is finding it difficult to breathe. He needs surgery to widen his airway so that he will be able to breathe much more easily. He will also be neutered at the same time.
The cost of the BOAS (Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome) surgery is £3,000 and we are hoping that we can get some help to find the money needed to give Rio a more comfortable life.
Rio is a delightful little dog. He loves to play with soft dog toys, giving them a good shaking and tossing them around. He likes to go for walks, but at the moment is restricted to short walks because he gets out of breath. He is a young dog with all his life in front of him and we want him to be able to breathe better so that he can have some fun.
Rio deserves to have a better quality of life and with your help we can make it happen.
